Carly & Marcus | Helmsley engagement

It seems like an absolute age that we photographed Carly & Marcus’ Helmsley engagement shoot, but it was definitely a good one! Helmsley is a beautiful market town just on the edge of the Yorkshire moors, which is also an excellent place for engagement photos! We use engagement shoots as a perfect way to get our couples used to being photographed in the way that we do. It can be pretty daunting and a little odd to have someone following you around for a day, but everyone that has had one, thoroughly recommends it. It puts any nerves at rest, and we also get to know you both a lot more too, which we think is important.

These guys were absolute pros, within 10mins of being photographed we could probably have gone home, we’d got so many shots already! We wandered round the beautiful village, chatted, shot some photos that captured both Carly & Marcus in a relaxed way that they could then use on their wedding day. Oh yeah, that’s still to come, it was SO good!
