As a Derby wedding photographer, the West Mill is an absolute dream of a venue! Nestled in the heart of Darley Abbey, this place oozes industrial charm, and we never tire of capturing love stories within its exposed brick walls. Olivia & Josh’s day was simply magical, and we were so lucky to be part of it!
Both Olivia & Josh chose the lovely spots to get ready for the day ahead. Olivia, surrounded by her closest people, prepped in The West Mill’s light-filled bridal suite, meanwhile, Josh got ready at his parents’ home. Their little boy was right at the centre of it all, adding an extra sprinkle of love and laughter.
The West Mill is the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to photography. From the raw, textured brickwork to the stunning riverside views, we had endless opportunities to create effortlessly stylish portraits of Olivia & Josh. These two were a dream to work with so natural, and fun! The confetti was beautiful and always works so well at The West Mill as it acts like a tunnel and floats for ages!
