Dewi & Cam | Brighton Seafront Wedding

When we spoke to Dewi and Cam about their wedding plans we were so excited! Firstly, because their Brighton Seafront wedding sounded AMAZING! Secondly, because we had never ventured down south to Brighton before!
We met up with them both in the morning, Dewi was in a hotel overlooking the picturesque Brighton seafront with all her bridesmaids. Whilst Cam was at home relaxing with friends before the big day. Cam arrived in style to their ceremony in his friends American vintage car, which made for some great photos. Annie loved the moment Dewi’s parent’s saw her in her dress for the first time, it was such a beautiful moment!
The couple chose to have a first look before getting hitched at Brighton Registry office – it was super emotional and both of them smiled from ear to ear when they saw each other! The ceremony was lovely, they walked in together, with a few tears and lots of smiles all around. After the ceremony – the couple were showered with lots of confetti and cheers!
We all moved onto the beach for a few family photos and some really relaxed portraits of Dewi & Cam. The weather was windy and beautifully sunny which made for nice bright colourful images with beautiful skylines. Their plans had a few hiccups along the way – with various venues letting them down, but finally they found The Walrus which was not far from the seafront to hold their beautiful wedding reception. Dewi’s mum helped with lots of the decoration in the venue and the tables looked stunning, matching with the theme of the venue.
There were some wonderful, emotional speeches and then the food (which was incredible!) followed by cake and doughnuts downstairs in the evening reception room. We went out for a few more photos on the beach hoping for a sunset – it was super windy which actually worked in our favour and made Dewi’s veil fly around the create some beautiful portraits. We usually like to take couples away for 10 minutes or so around this time – it tends to be nicer light (in summer!) and it is also a nice opportunity for them both to have a chat with each other and reflect on the day so far.
The evening was in full swing after the cake and first dance and we really enjoyed Dewi’s dads dancing!! Thanks for having us along guys!
