Helen & Jeremy | Graythwaite Wedding, Lake District
Graythwaite wedding, Lake District
We literally couldn’t wait for this beautiful Graythwaite wedding, Lake District last summer. We’d actually moved house that week, but was a welcome break from the chaos to go up to The Lake district for Helen & Jeremy’s wedding. Who decides to move house during wedding season?! (Us obviously!)
As soon as we got to this stunning location of Graythwaite Cottages, it was clear to see why Helen & Jeremy had chosen such a remote and unique spot to tie the knot. If you can remember last summer, you can remember the AMAZING (but so hot!) weather that we had. Unfortunately, on their day, it seemed to pour with rain right from the morning, until well after the ceremony that was in a little church a few miles away. Umbrellas were definitely needed, and this also meant for group shots inside the church, as well as holding off on photographs till later on for this lovely couple. We were all so lucky, because after food and speeches, the clouds cleared and we were able to go to Windermere lake just down the road from the Graythwaite cottages site to take some beautiful couples overlooking the lake and the mountains beyond.
We had such fun photographing Helen & Jeremy’s wedding and to say it was a mix of weather, we absolutely love the different shots we got throughout the day because of this. A big shout out to all the lovely suppliers that made their day super special, and to Agnes Wedding Films who we worked alongside on the day. Thank you Helen and Jeremy for being superstars and allowing us to capture your special lake district wedding.
