In summer last year (yes summer! we still have SO much work to share!) we shot our first wedding at Thornsett Fields Farm. This venue is definitely quirky as it is on a fully working farm with cows and sheep around to enjoy. Jessica’s hair was done by Sophie House hair and makeup by Pacha MUA from Sheffield. Her stunning dress was by Anna Sorrano which was still a beautifully classic dress but very suitable for Farm/ Festival vibes!
Jessica made her own flowers for the day as well as decking out the whole of the barn and farm with a really fun and rustic theme. We absolutely loved all the wellies, pom poms, decorations and little details that these guys put into their day and it looked great to photograph!
We loved to photograph the outdoor ceremony at Thornsett fields farm as it was so personal to Jessica & Dave and felt really relaxed that everyone could enjoy it sitting on the hay bales. Their friends conducted the ceremony for them dressed as different officiants which made everyone smile and Jessica actually arrived onto the farm with her dad in a tractor!
For dinner they had pie, mash and peas and for pudding was lots of cake! Going into the evening Jessica & Dave had booked the incredible New York brass band as a surprise for all their guests and it went down a storm! The party really started when these guys got up close to everyone dancing and it was such an amazing day! Thank you so much guys for having us along, we had the best time photographing your big day.
