Jolie and James | Deighton Lodge wedding

We often get asked, “What happens if it rains on my wedding day?”, well this blog is the answer for you! Jolie & James’ Deighton Lodge wedding took place way back in October 2019, which seems an absolute age ago now! So much has happened, including these wonderful two welcoming a baby into the world!

Jolie and James’ individual mornings started being surrounded by their closest family and friends. Both getting ready in different areas of Deighton Lodge, this made for a seamless morning without the risk of them seeing each other before their wedding vows. Even their dog Frankie made an appearance, she was SO beautiful!!

Nerves definitely showed as Jolie walked down the aisle towards James, but it made for some wonderful images during their ceremony. With autumnal & gin themed tables, beautifully decorated by Forge Events it made for a show stopping aesthetic to the day. We did mention rain outside, but did it bother them? No not at all! With short breaks in between the weather, we quickly grabbed them both for some portraits outside, before heading back in as the clouds opened.

Food and speeches followed, with every able to relax and enjoy the spread from Juste Nous. After noticing what was the most beautiful of sunsets, we quickly grabbed the couple again for a few photos in from of an incredibly orange and golden sky, before heading back for cake & dancing. There were some real characters on the dance floor, which makes our job really easy and makes sure we get images that both Jolie and James will remember their Deighton Lodge wedding.
