We had the absolute pleasure of capturing Melissa & Tom’s wedding, and what a day it was! From start to finish, it was filled with fun!

Melissa looked breathtaking in her dress from Scarlett Poppy, a renowned bridal boutique in Leeds. The dress was timeless, elegant, and perfect for the occasion. Her bridal look was completed by the incredibly talented Sonia Schofield, who not only worked her magic in the morning but stayed throughout the day for touch-ups, ensuring Melissa looked flawless from the first look to the final dance. Having Sonia on hand was such a bonus, especially when it came to capturing those romantic portraits where a quick fix on the hair or a gentle refresh on the makeup made all the difference.

As photographers, The Oakwood at Ryther wedding venue is always a venue we love to return to. The variety of settings it offers is just incredible—whether it’s the rustic charm of the barns, the wide-open fields bathed in golden light, or the long lane leading up to the venue. Every setting was perfect to capture Melissa & Tom’s day.

Even though we’re Leicestershire wedding photographers now, Yorkshire will always feel like home to us. There’s something about the rolling landscapes, warm-hearted people, and charming venues that keeps drawing us back, and we couldn’t have asked for a better reason to return than this beautiful wedding.
