Sara & Dan | Yorkshire Dales engagement

We’ve always wanted to do a Yorkshire Dales engagement shoot, so when Sara and Dan said they liked the idea of it we jumped at the chance! We’d recently bought a book about wild swimming and it had some great places in it, so after some research on one of the locations in the book, off we went on our adventure! Little did we know the waterfall was a very muddy, boggy, and hilly couple of miles walk away from the road we left our cars! It was quite a mission, and towards the middle of the shoot we thought we were never going to make it home! (haha!!) With squelchy feet, we eventually found the waterfall and it was stunning and worth the walk, there had been so much rain that it was a torrent! (there was definitely no paddling going to happen!). Sara and Dan were absolute champions with it being such a journey to the waterfall, but the photos were totally worth it and we all felt like we needed a blue peter badge (and a gin!) afterwards! Thanks Sara and Dan for putting so much effort into your Yorkshire Dales engagement shoot! We can’t wait to shoot their wedding in March at The West Mill.
