Tally & Jon | Yorkshire Micro Wedding

Tally & Jon’s Yorkshire micro wedding was one of our first back after Covid restrictions on weddings were eased in 2021. We were both incredibly excited, but equally as much nervous. We needn’t had worried though, we were welcomed in with open arms and everyone was so appreciative that we were able to capture their wedding day after everything that had gone on in our industry. Set just outside of York, Tally & Jon opted for a private country house they’d booked that also allowed their guests to stay onsite too. This always makes things much easier with the logistics of a wedding morning!! Everyone had helped create the decorations throughout the accommodation, and everything felt so personal and bespoke. Tally & Jon’s dog Reggie, and Tally’s mum’s dog Hugo were also in attendance, constantly trying to steal the show!

We can’t imagine the difficulty in choosing only 15 people to attend your wedding, but there was also something really beautiful about it. The coming together of those most important people in your lives, and sharing it much more intimately than a larger wedding celebration. It gave us chance to focus on more of those moments, and capture the day as we feel it should be told.
