Katie & Paul | West Mill Wedding

This was always going to be an amazing West Mill wedding, Katie & Paul are paramedics so we suspect they must be very busy at the moment helping people around the Midlands. We hope this little snapshot back to their beautiful wedding day makes them smile.

I joined Katie and her bridesmaids in the morning, they were all so excited and couldn’t wait to get their stunning flower crowns and dresses on. Katie was very calm and super easy to photograph. Chris joined Paul in the morning with his groomsmen, they got ready in a nearby hotel and then moved onto The West Mill to greet guests. Paul wore Ted Baker and Katie wore Willowby by Watters.

The wedding ceremony took place at The West Mill, and was a stunning legal ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which were very personal and made everyone smile. After the ceremony, there was a big cheer from everyone and then confetti was thrown outside The West Mill and drinks were served from a prosecco serving bike. There were also football related beers like “The Wednesday Ale” which were really cool and made for great photos with guests who supported different clubs.

It was a lovely warm day and so we were able to do all the family photographs and couple portraits around the river. Also gorgeous light coming through the windows of The West Mill.

After food were the speeches, which were really funny and there was even a projector involved in the best mans speech! The evening followed with a stunning cheese cake and doughnut display and the most loveliest first dance.
