HOLLY & ALEX | YORKSHIRE BARN WEDDING

Pre ceremony

Anii started shooting at The Normans, where the bride was getting ready, it was so much fun because all Holly’s bridesmaids were dancing and singing whilst Holly had her hair and makeup done. Chris started photographing Alex at a nearby Air bnb and then moved onto The Normans. Holly wore a Diane Legrand wedding dress and Alex wore a Hugo boss suit and they looked so dapper. Winter weddings are always so stylish with the outfits changing from summer frocks to dinner jackets and dresses with lots of glitter and sequins!

The ceremony

The wedding took place at one of our favourite Yorkshire Barn wedding venues, The Normans. It was an emotional and intimate ceremony. They had personal vows they wrote themselves, which was so beautiful.

The reception

After the ceremony they walked down the aisle together and were showered with colourful confetti. We had to be quick with whisking off Holly and Alex for portraits as their ceremony was quite late in the day in November. When we came out of the ceremony barn the sunset was absolutely stunning and so they quickly said hello to everyone and then we went straight to a nearby field to catch the last bit of the beautiful golden sunshine.

After dinner they had some wonderful speeches, then the couple cut the wedding cake and the party got started. They also had time in the evening to do a few more photos, so we couldn’t resist taking them into the barn at The Normans to use the beautiful fairy light wall.
