The couple
When Carly and Marcus first got in touch with us about their East Riddlesden Hall wedding in Yorkshire, we were so excited – they were planning a really fun and relaxed wedding with a cocktail bar, saxophonist and even a bit of mini golf! Carly and Marcus are the nicest people and we couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
Getting hitched
The wedding took place at East Riddlesden Hall, and was a stunning legal ceremony. They had the beautiful fairy light wall behind them in the ceremony along with some lovely vows and lots of smiley faces! After the ceremony the couple walked back down the aisle together, and then had a confetti tunnel outside the main doors at East Riddlesden Hall. The confetti shots always look amazing outside here but this was one of our favourites! We absolutely loved their white Beetle wedding car which drove them down into the gardens at the venue. It was such a fun vibe with everyone enjoying cocktails, the saxophonist in the sunshine and playing all the outdoor games that Carly & Marcus had provided for them.
The day
The rain started just as it was ready for all guests to be seated which was good timing! It soon stopped ready for their ice cream cart after food! We took Carly and Marcus for some photos around East Riddlesden Hall, and also into the fields, the sun was shining and we managed to get some lovely light in the evening portraits. These guys made us feel so welcome, and makes us realise how much we love our job! They even sent us some Betty’s tea and biscuits as a present to say thank you!
