Adele & Janine | The Normans wedding inspiration

Well, what can we say for Adele and Janine’s wedding with the amount of The Normans wedding inspiration going on here! We had an absolute blast photographing and videoing their wedding and let us tell you why. They were so much fun and so friendly it felt like photographing friends! In the morning Adele & Janine got ready together, (Adele actually doing hair and makeup on the morning with some of her friends!).

It is the first time we had photographed in the new bridal room at The Normans  and we loved it! So much space and great mirrors for the bridal prep shots. Janine & Adele then got ready separately and we photographed their first look outside the cottage which was emotional!

These guys walked down the aisle together into the ceremony with massive smiles on their faces in their beautiful wedding dresses. Their ceremony was personal with friends doing readings and felt intimate with the gorgeous fairy light curtain (which we absolutely love!!).

After the ceremony they got showered with confetti and then said hello to all their family and friends (and the resident cat!). We loved that they had a shot with all their friends and family in the courtyard after the ceremony which made for some cool photos!

The weather was so nice and so there was no shortage of light on their day. We did some portraits of these guys around The Normans, and also with their blue camper van. We also knew we wanted to wait until later on in to the evening to get that beautiful sunshine and golden hour.

When we had finished portraits and went back into the courtyard we couldn’t believe how amazing it was. Adele & Janine had hired a live band for cocktail hour and all their guests were dancing and singing away, it was so much fun to photograph (and film!) Adele & Janine got up onto the water feature and started dancing to all their guests, a moment we will never forget!

After the first dance, all the guests got out their glow sticks and glittered up ready for the night ahead. We loved photographing people throwing some shapes on the dance floor and they also had a really fun photo booth.
