Dilly and Dan’s awesome Thorpe Garden wedding was in November 2021 on a frosty but beautiful day, surrounded by loved ones and their dog Elvis! Now, a Thorpe Garden wedding is one of those venues that just never disappoints. Whether it’s summer, autumn, winter, or spring, this place always serves up a stunning backdrop for a wedding.
You see, we’re total garden geeks, so shooting here is always a treat. In the summer, it’s all lush greenery and blooming flowers. But let me tell you, in November, when that low sun hits just right and there’s a hint of frost in the air, the whole vibe changes – and we’re here for it! Now, let’s talk about the real stars of the show: Dilly and Dan, along with their furry friend Elvis. Bringing your dog to the wedding? Genius move. And Elvis? Well, let’s just say he stole the show with his impeccable behavior and adorable poses for the photos.
And can we take a moment to appreciate Dilly’s Rue de Seine dress? I mean, seriously, talk about detail! The sleeves were such a cool touch, especially since they could be adapted and taken off for the night do. Practical and stunning – we love it. But you know what made this wedding truly special? Dilly and Dan themselves. These two were an absolute blast to photograph – laid-back, fun-loving, and totally in their element. Capturing their joy and excitement was an absolute privilege, and we couldn’t be happier to have been a part of their big day.
